Great news for the smokers of the great state of New Jersey. We have the great opportunity to become the next stat to somewhat legalize the illustrious, soul purifying, mind cleansing, healing herb known as Cannabis. Earlier today i found an article that put a smile on my face, and so I had to put another bud in my bowl and pass it on. The link is http://online.wsj.com/article/SB125962987284870595.html. Written by SUZANNE SATALINE of the WALL STREET JOURNAL on December 1st explains that NJ is pushing for the legalization of medical marijuana, and that it should be signed before the great Gov. Jon Corzine leaves office in January. Even the Republican Chris Christie agrees with the legislation, but had concerns. Of course nothing comes easy right? Well theres Republican Assemblywoman Mary Pat Angelini who is against it, but you know what its A NEW DAY. As a nation we are beginning to question what we were tought, find new ways to live better mind, body and soul. Including organic food, green power, all together a higher awareness off oneself. If I want to ingest something totally organic, that hasnt been altered in any way. That no one can regulate but the sun, earth, air and myself then so be it. If I can go to the store and buy a pack of cigarets for almost $10.00, (wich by the way causes cancer from the additives that the government puts into it to make it more addictive.) and a pint of vodka for a little more money (wich destroys your liver, and can kill from alcohol poisoning) (both of wich are taxed out the ass so the government can get their cut in on our personal suicide) then why can't I buy an ounce of GANJA on my way home from work and hit the blunt till I fall asleep wake up and got to work the next day so that I can do it again.........Ill tell you why MARIJUANA IS CALLED WEED FOR A REASON. IT CAN GROW ANYWHERE BY ANYONE. IT IS A GREAT RENEWABLE RESCOURCE IN HEMP FORM THAT IS CHEAPER TO PRODUCE BUT MORE VALUABLE THEN PAPER, COTTON, AND SILK COMBINED. IT MAKES GREAT FEED FOR LIVESTOCK, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST YOU CAN SMOKE IT. There is no way that the government can regulate it. So I say onto you speak up for complete legalization and taxation of this wonder of a plant. For double the price of a pack of cigarettes ill gladly pay for some MARY JANE taxes and all. Wouldn't you.
